Yep would never cross my mind to speak like that to a girl...specially if I’m 5th in the f2 championship Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I actually played basketball at UNLV -yes ur city!!-so I do. Doesn’t mean I have to approve of his conduct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Approve? Of course not. But it happens with jocks and celebs all the time. My god the Lakers from the last 20 years must have personally funded every Planned Parenthood clinic in LA.

The FIA could push the situation with Mazepin........if they wanted to. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes they could and easily. He has not set foot in the team and he is easily dispensed. He might need to actually realize how easy it is to be rid of him. His history is well documented. Some in the link I posted. Doubts about the 'girl'' and her sincereity of apology are already brewing. Money is said to have changed hands etc. What a soap opera however small a LOSING team does not need now.
It will be $25M against the internet mob. Mazepin might be a dickhead but this particular event blew out of proportions.
Ageeed. He is a brat but clearly they were both in agreement with what was happening ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed on that but then again in today's PC world everything is blown out of proportion and thus has a negative effect. Haas is really in a quandary: They don't need negative press but they do need Mazepin's $.
I think so too......just a slap on the wrist (reprimand). If Mazepin doesn't "get it" after this episode, he will definitely be in trouble. I'm sure daddy gave him an earful.
To any of our international tifosi, is this getting much play internationally versus the PC world of US, England, <insert other woke nations>?
Ferrari is to set up a Haas hub in Maranello, with more of the Italian team's personnel set to be moved across to the American-owned outfit. With Ferrari preparing for the challenge of trimming down its personnel numbers in response to the arrival of a budget cap, it wants to redeploy key staff to its customer team. Ferrari had already announced earlier this month that Simone Resta, its head of chassis engineering, would be moving to Haas in an undefined role. Now the Italian squad has revealed that more transfers are expected to be finalised soon. A separate 'hub' factory is being set up near Ferrari's facility where these personnel can work solely for Haas. Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto said: "These persons will be in Maranello in a completely separate building to Scuderia Ferrari. "They will not have access to the Scuderia Ferrari building. It is separated and they will remain in there." Binotto said that the relationship with Haas remained on customer terms as before, as he made clear there was no suggestion of them pooling ideas that could be against the regulations. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/154327/ferrari-to-set-up-haas-hub-f1-facility-at-maranello
What a Machiavellian move by Ferrari: Split your development efforts into two teams to maintain the budget cap. Brilliant. And not for one second do I believe the alleged separation of know-how. Nor should they. Merc has Aston Martin, Red Bull has Alfa Tauri and Ferrari has Haas and Sauber.
Good luck to the gent set up by the FIA to monitor the budget cap. That will be a next drama for us lol
Absolutely. It is one thing to put seals on engine parts but a whole different story to control finances of a global company. Will some team members get their paycheck from a bank in the Cayman Islands?
Imagine what Merc has going on in Stuttgart. Working in a high-tech industry, I know there are multiple research projects that can be initiated—and in the case of Merc, ostensibly for road car use—with the learning transferred to the F1 side. How will this be tracked? Regarding Haas, wonder if this hub will effectively replace the Dallara design center.
What the team needs even less after years of GRO and MAG on-track antics is a hot-headed driver—with no particular talent—who’s already been reprimanded for driving transgressions in F2. Also, the choice of a punk as driver really sends a message that they’re not a serious outfit, despite the fact they seem to have a legitimate up and comer (if not exactly a superstar) in Schumi Jr.
For Mercedes I imagine that this has already been the case for many years. The funny thing is that they declare more than a thousand employees on the F1 project and the other day in an interview, Toto thanked the 2000 employees involved in the same project..
