I just bough a 2005 F430 last month, I need to replace the original Ferrari CAT's. My first question is: 1) does this model have the pre CAT's as part of the exhaust manifold? If not, what other CAT's are available that are 100% compatible with the existing CATs?

    2) If I want to buy an aftermarket type of CATs, is there some that are non-ceramic in nature?

    3) Are the FABSPEED CATs good value for the money?

I still have my stock CATs off of my 16K mile car. PM if interested.

Yes the stock headers have pre-cats in them.

If you go HFCs, it’s going to be louder but does add some excitement!

Mase Engineering can tune out the cold start.

My car has 200 cell cats and no header cats. As soon as its cold started, it closes the exhaust valves right away. No more crazy cold start.

Valves work same way while driving.
