Here’s a bit more information: The truck on the left with Italian license plates "MO 42629" is a 1957 Fiat 642 RN 2 Bartoletti Transporter with Chassis #002989, registered on the 23 March 1957, whereas the truck on the right with Italian license plates "MO 42628" is a 1957 Fiat 642 RN 2 Bartoletti Transporter with Chassis #003002, registered on 22 March 1957. It uses the number 2707 GT which was originally a 250 GTE 2+2. However, the chassis number as stamped today does not look original. This vehicle was registered 30 May 2006 in the name of Autoclassic S.r.l. in Moncalieri (Torino). Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No. That photo shows a car using the ID of "2707 GT". There's a mix-up with identities between 2707 GT and 3405 GT, and one of the people involved is desperately trying to "legalize" or should I say "officialize" his vehicle. Have a look at the pix in post #1096 and go and get some popcorn. Marcel Massini
