Wow. Loving the fake social justice outrage. They say we should be outraged, so we must be outraged. The guy was messing around with his friend/girlfriend. Both of them were clearly fine with whatever was happening. No story here. Yes. Posting to social media not a smart move at all. But claiming he assaulted or groped her is just crap. Kevin
Poor decisons and emotional control issues. Nothing fake. Team and F1 deserve better. Im making my own mind up. Sum of his actions. Sorry to disappoint your presumed agenda of others thinking for me. History is full of his actions and decisions. Others like Mick are so beyond this little troll its funny. Good luck to Haas.
They had it out for Mazepin for a while now. The SJ crowd (new, young F1 fans) all wanted their darling Callum Illott in F1 but it didn't happen. If they don't want Mazepin, fine, but have an argument on legit grounds. Not touching his friend/gf/escorts' tit, who was very obviously fine with it. I'm so sick and tired of this cancel culture crowd. If their argument was solely based on some of his F2 actions and beating up another driver (before anyone says anything, this went quite far beyond the push with Verstappen and Ocon). Not taking offense for a woman who herself said there was nothing wrong with it, and certainly not for the whatsapp based flirting with an F1 fangirl who, when he decided not to take it further after she played hard to get, took offense and the day he signed she released the whatsapp screenshots.
I have no problem at all with your opinion based on prior actions, and would agree in most respects. I was simply referring to this particular incident, which is a nothing, and is being pushed absurdly by the SJW crowd. Kevin
This young generation who thinks they are moral prosecutors of a new type thanks to social networks do not realize that they will be the first victims of this new ideology. Their declining cultural level is the ideal breeding ground for this to happen.
Absolutely 100% correct. Tolerance will get less, and before they know it...they break their own laws and get ''cancelled''.
The facts: 1 - Venezuelan "Instagram model" was flew in to Dubai by Mazepin. 2 - She was in the back seat of a Porsche, while someone else is driving. 3 - Clearly both had drinks and were having a good time. 4 - Mazepin, from the front seat, turns his arm in a very uncomfortable direction to touch her breasts, clearly as a joke, then she smiles back and simulates licking a "popsicle". The internet/social justice warriors/ woke journalists/ "F1 fans" who have never been to a racetrack: "Oh my god, poor girl, she was lured by Mazepin to go to Dubai for a session to pray the rosary, but instead she was drugged and abused in his car! #Metoo"
U guys are from another era. Yeah he is a pig but he did nothing, the video shows nothing. He shouldn’t be in F1 because he sucks but not because of that Incident Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting article by Blick today about Haas and how Ferrari "transfers" a bunch of its employees to Haas to avoid the budget cap. Article mentions that the Haas car is 70% a Ferrari.
No doubt. The article mentions that as well. The bigger issue is that Sauber/Alfa is NOT getting the same treatment and they're not pleased. Expect Haas to move up in the chain and Alfa down next year. Maybe that's why Ferrari placed Mick with Haas as opposed to the anticipated move to Sauber.
First of all that was one (tabloid?) journalist’s estimate of the percentage of Ferrari parts on the Haas. Since the engine and whole rear end is Ferrari, that’s a large percentage but not sure how he arrives at 70%. Secondly, unlike tRP’s illegal use of “listed parts”, Haas use the “standard” Ferrari parts allowed by the rules. If not, pretty sure other teams would challenge this, as Renault (rightly) did against tRP Also, everyone knows why all Ferrari-engined teams didn’t perform well this year and which won’t necessarily be the case next year. Finally, the fact Haas contracted-in Ferrari designers into their own separate organization is above board and normal procedure for all companies that consult to multiple clients. The Ferrari-staffed team will most likely replace the Dallara-staffed team and will be fully separate from Ferrari except for the IP of the “standard” parts. This can be very easily audited. The fact the Ferrari people bring the knowledge they have stored in their heads is no different from the oft-vaunted supposed advantage that UK teams have of continuous knowledge transfer between teams due to circulation of personnel.
You lost me at easily audited. I'm shaking my head in absolute disbelief. Your view of the world is beyond me.
My world is rooted in daily technical collaborations, data transfers, IP clearance reviews, NDAs, etc. Is your world view rooted in unfounded conspiracy theories and prejudices?
