    Lovely. I find it interesting that they have been overlapping Pista and F8 production. Do they have them on separate lines or do they stagger them on the same lines? Different days?

    Your guess is as good as mine but if memory serves, they were making some F430 when they were still making CS and even 360 Spiders. They were still making a few 599 GTB when they were making the GTO etc. I think some of this is normal, and also I bet some of this is due to the problems in the world. So many things are delayed. Whats important is he will have his special car just how he wanted it (pardon my presumption).

    They did also overlap 458 Speciale (and even regular 458 spiders) and 488 GTB productions, so there is nothing new here. And they were all mixed in the same line IIRC.

    I'm pretty sure the same line. Based on my factory visits, there is one V8 line and then another (smaller) V12 line.

    That was a more "normal" situation since these were of the same (458) generation, whereas mixing 360 CS / F430, Scud / 458 and various 458 with 488 was mixing cars of different generations.
    Anyway, there does not seem to be a sustained pattern since we now have the 812 SF discontinued even before the introduction of the 812 VS... (but we're not even sure about a proper replacement for the 812 SF)
    Back to the F12 TdF, all these pictures (and owners' reports) show that the 812 VS will need to be exceptional to be a worthy successor.
