I agree entirely after looking at my 348 parked in this line of Ferrari's.

Its irrefutable. The sides too. Now the back end the 355 has it. Its those 80's budget light strips, put in round lights behind the lattice and its dynamite. Its knot thelattice work its those stupid economy car light bars that kill it. The side mirrors on the 355 are less 80's but that's debatable which mirror better. personally I think the 355 front is a bit of a mess. I don't think the front ends ever recovered from the 348s dashing and brooding look.

348 front and 355's 288 kick tail inspired rear, I imagine would be great but even just round lights clean it up notably. Few examples.

Totally agree on the 348 front end. More purposeful, no "oh we forgot the fog lamps, let's just put little circles here" sort of thing.

But, sorry, I love the 348 tail lights.
Cap taken from the 348 in LA at night video. The lines give it a menacing look. Not every Ferrari needs round lights in the back imho.

I do love the 355 rear though, but not better or worse. And it doesn't take away my love of the 348 rear.

I totally agree with this, I think the 355 rear lights stand on their own merits, but so do the 348 rear lights.....
I like them both, I spent some time working on a friends 355 today, beautiful car, the rear end is pretty nice......just not fussed about those funny little round lights in the front bumper...

Don’t you still have the blue 348? It’s stunning as I remember.

Thank you, yes I still have it. I think the post you quoted would have been back in 2015 when I had an agreed upon deal for a silver on red 1990 348ts and the seller flaked. I'm actually glad I ended up with my blue on red Euro 348ts.

Pic for the heck of it. :)

Makes me realize how lucky we are here in New Zealand to be able to drive our cars all year round.
We do have a couple of months where its very wet and not much driving happens, but we don't ever have to put the car away for the winter so to speak.

When you need to replace the alternator in the Toyota, and then you need to jump start the Toyota with the Ferrari.....But not only that, when you go to the Auto Electrical supplier in the Ferrari to pick up the new alternator and there is a F430 Spider parked outside which belongs to the company owner!!
I never got a shot of that, but it was great seeing the two Ferrari's in the car park together, I wasn't expecting that!!

I'm curious - do you get much induction noise with that setup?
