F8 or STO?

Not all dealers know the total allocation they're receiving. My dealer for example knows the cars they're getting this year but next year is up in the air. You also have to keep in mind Randy isn't a VIP customer per say, yes he has a SVJ and a Urus but there's other clients who are VIP watching the video who haven't received allocation so she has to be careful what she says.

And I wouldn't put too much weight in delivery dates just yet. My car will be first customer car, 1 of 2 cars arriving in June/July but as of yet the order hasn't been submitted to the factory and the factory hasn't been forthcoming about exact dates.

 

I get it, but, personally, I can’t stand that wishy-washy “we don’t know” silliness. Also, I think the super VIP cars will be arriving late spring, as early as April. My dealer is a Super Trofeo race series participant and I think because of that, they might get a different allocation of STO’s. Perhaps, they might also be getting a different level of communication than the other dealers. I’m lucky, my Ferrari dealer, Lamborghini dealer, and McLaren dealer have always been very transparent with me in their dialogue. As an aside, I have struggled somewhat with Porsche, which is probably why I don’t own one.

It is OK. Not everyone can be perfect...

 

I'm not a fan of dealers hyping up cars but I think genuinely a lot of dealers have no clue about how many cars they're getting in total and they don't want to overpromise customers.

Buddy as in "buddy" - but yes the STO will be the pinnacle of track cars for the road - Of that I am sure

Prices should hold up for a year or so unless they announce the replacement without the V10. If this happens all bets are off.

Audi will no longer control Lamborghini in 2021 and Audi's next supercar will be wear the e-tron badge so that leaves Lamborghini with a V10 that needs hybridization for it to survive. There's no public statements regarding keeping the V10 and it seems like the all the R&D money went towards keeping the V12 alive. It'll be a stretch to keep the V10 alive without Audi involved.

Maybe the Porsche dealers over there just don't like the look of you two boys. With me I'm fine. Never had a problem.

 

Agree it sounds like crap but I prefer the styling over the STO. My point is that it’s far from a certainty that the STO will be the fastest track oriented supercar. Not saying it’s impossible, but that’s a bold assumption based on the car’s known stats. That said, it’s natural to cheer for the cars we own/will own so I can’t fault your enthusiasm
