I have worked with Marcel on many cars and I think I asked Marcel to write reports on almost all the cars I have sold, certainly the older ones. Marcel is A+ and the cost of his report is insignificant compared to the value it adds to the sale price of the car IMHO. Hope to catch up soon Marcel.
must be a very special car probably a former race car ou at least an even number car that was suppossed to be scrapped, stolen or with no history after 1954 not that much cars can match that (maybe 10?) there are two that I will defenetly like to see emerged a 1954 and 1953 car only time will tell . One of the cars I will love to see one day even it's not the one looking for is # 0074E ,still raced in 1955 . One day when visiting a well know former team director one guy working there told me that they were on the hunt of one of the cars they used to race in the early 50's because the car suppossed to be the car today was not the real one and the real one was somewhere in South America in a very poor shape don't know if his story was true .
Mercy for a karting starter and being late! Fully agree that Marcel is an AAAA guy and may also smile for non-Ferraris. But here he smiles for a prominent owner in a real Ferrari, listed on FC as an original!
Still have not seen any reference to costs for a Massini report. On the average. Please if you can help it no “if I have to ask” comments
No it’s not a “if you have to ask” situation ... very reasonable cost ... depends obviously on the amount of research needed.
Just watched all episodes. Fantastic stuff and required viewing for anyone interested in Ferrari history
Hello, I’m new to the forum and new to Ferrari ownership. Wondering if I could have some assistance in contacting Marcel Massini to commission a report. Despite upgrading my membership, I do not seem to have privileges to DM him. Advice appreciated. Amir Neyestani
Amir, just click on Marcel Massini (F1 World Champ) That will open a box with 4 choices Click START a CONVERSATION and start typing a message to him
Down to basics. What's the cost of a Classiche Certificate What's the cost of a Massini report In todays market.
The cost for Classiche certification varies based on the model. I know it starts out around $5500 for later models and goes up from there, though I can’t say with confidence where it tops off at. Classiche and Marcels reports are very different things. Classiche is essentially a verification certification from the factory that confirms the cars original livery and validates if the car maintains its original specifications and/or correct/proper main components (attaching the Classiche official criteria). It is my understanding that a Massini report is wholly different, and essentially provides an exhaustive chronology of a cars provenance and historical biography with extensive documentation and photographs. Classiche doesn’t have this depth of information, nor would they. Once the car left the factory, it lived many lives beyond their purview. Basically, Marcel is the person with such an extensive library and knowledge base. I’ll stop there and let Marcel speak for himself if you contact him.
