1987 Testarossa for sale in Colorado. Know this car? Thoughts on it?

Hey all,

I’m looking for some advice and opinions from you experts. This 1987 Testarossa is for sale in Colorado Springs. Video is here.

Service records look decent, including a cam seal and belt service in March of 2017, clutch in 2018, and a billet diff in 2011 after what looks like a catastrophic diff failure. It looks like it was running hot and had thermostats replaced in 2018. Is that reason for concern?

Opinions on the asking price, condition, service records, etc.? Anything scare you about this car?

prob could get for “not much more” but difference I price made up by miles and condition

 

Looks pretty rough to me. May be the lighting, but the interior is strange and not well cared for. Mechanically, who knows. Put your eyes on it and drive it or just walk away.

Alot of physical and cosmetic problems in and out after watching the video!

You would think the dealer would have done a better job of cleaning and conditioning the interior, dash, seats, and carpets for show. It may be a nice car but the pictures could be much more flattering.

Agreed but this car has a new diff which is positive...
That being said that car looks rough, leather is shot. I’d pass
