Oh my word. "Butcher" is certainly the applicable term. My condolences and best wishes to getting it sorted.

Fortunately its all sorted out as far as the electronics, once I am done with it, it will be near perfect.

Today I sent the car to the mechanic for shocks, and some minor mechanical adjustments.

Heads up. I have found so many parts on EBay that are stupidly priced and available for much less elsewhere.

I buy many the things from
@Eurospares and @Superformance , great people and even though they are in the UK, shipping takes just a few days, even less than buying from some sellers on EBay

Installed LED lights in the rear and front turn signal lights, reverse, and brake lights. Needed to replace Sipea 2 prong flasher relay with CF14 JL-02 LED 3 prong flasher relay.
I had to re-arrange the wiring in the relay panel and add a ground lead to the relay panel. All work great and the flasher relay makes a clicking sound.

You can see my GPS locator in the background.

Hey Richard - your post needs to be on its own thread! I was taking out my booster/pedal box and taking photos everywhere to record my restoration.
Here is an image looking straight-up under the dash (steering column spindle at the top and front of the car to the right).

Is the left yellow-zinc relay the flasher unit or the seat-belt buzzer? Or the black Sipea 0475 on the right?

You have #s for the LED bulbs used in your project?

I think I have answered my own question.....I believe in the image is the Seatbelt warning module and the Seat belt buzzer.

Flasher relay is on the relay panel to the left of the fuseboxes. For early carbs, a black round cylinder with 2 prongs. Mine has NA sticker on it.

    1. 1156-A18-T-2PK Qty: 3 – total of 6 LEDs Amber
    a. Front turn signals (2)
    b. Rear turn signals (4)
    2. 1156-NW18-T-2PK Qty: 1 – total of 2 LEDs Natural White
    a. Rear Reverse light
    3. 1157-R27-T-2PK Qty: 2 – total of 4 LEDs Red
    a. Rear brake lights
    4. CF14 JL-02
    a. 3 prong LED flasher relay (+, -, L)

You will need to rewire the flasher relay contacts on the relay panel to match the new LED flasher relay. You will need to install a uninsulated female spade connector with wire attached to ground for the (-) prong.
I used a flattened stainless steel wire or large paperclip flattened as my tool to release the spade connectors from the relay panel. You insert in the half moon opening to release the metal tab on the female spade and then pull it the wire from the back side. If you don't have a spade with the retainer tab, just use an uninsulated female spade and press it on after the relay is inserted in its slot.

Nothing: January, so we have snow; not that much, 3 inches and a half, but the cars will have to wait until it has melted and the salt on the roads has been washed away. After ten years of absolute peace, got a speeding ticket with the GTB (3 km/h above the limit), an another one with the GTS one week later (6 km/h above the limit) (on Christmas morning...)

Car wouldn't start yesterday, apparently no fuel pressure. It would run briefly on starter fluid sprayed thru the air intake but then stop. Today, I took the fuse panel off and fooled around with the fuel pump fuse. Took it out and put it back in. Key on....fuel pump noises.....started right up!

Got to love that Italian switchgear.... is there a kit to change the ceramic fuses over to plug in style fuses? I know it's probably "molesting" the wiring but better than standing on the side of the road in the dark.

Well, it could be worse, but more snow seems to be on its way for tomorrow; they have put tons of salt on the roads, so the roads will need a good spot of rain before been clean again. Plus, it is freezing every morning so as long as the roads are not clean of any water, I can't drive at my favourite time of the day.
I should be treating the leather with "leatherique", but it is too cold in the garage (about 10 - 11 Celsius) for "leatherique" to do its job, it needs warm temperatures to work best...will be cleaning the carpets instead.

Successfully swapped over the fuse boxes in my 308QV (RHD) today using Jason’s new kit (TurtleFarmer). His fitting guide was perfect and all went as advertised. I was even able to sort out the radio/aerial which had been separately wired/fused as well as reconnecting the fuel pump fuse.

The quality of design & product is superb and I think great value for money. Couldn’t be happier. Image Unavailable, Please Login
