DFW Fort Worth Cars and Breakfast, Saturday, January 9th

It may be Jamuary, but I don't think it'll be toasty!

 

I figured it was either a Jelly vs. Jam Showdown, or we'd have to bring instruments, and I'm a much better listener than player.

So far, the weather looks about as good as we can hope for in Janua-..... in Jamuary.

 

We shall see.

 

Kendall, thanks so much for keeping us all informed of this enjoyable gathering every month. I continue to be amazed at the interesting people we meet and the diversity of cars that appear. Looking forward to being there Saturday.

It's a short drive for me, I'll barely get the engine oil hot by the time I get there.

 

Opps, I overslept. The warm bed was way too comfortable.

 

I took the DD because it was COLD when I left home. Got passed by an interesting car on my way there....

Just realized we had seen the 355 before - wheels and clear front lights are new!

 

There are a couple of berlinettas, and a GTS (all 3 red) in our group for now. Mine has the yellow fogs and Challenge Speedlines, but the early-prediction weather was about 10 deg warmer (starting out "brisk" and rising from there), and I don't go below brisk (especially when it rises TO just below brisk!)...... so yeah, I stayed in.
The GTS owner brought a different car.

 

When is the next one ?
Can ( should ?) I invite the small NSX gang to it ?

Yes, mine is the first pic (which is from the Oct meeting). Looks like he got new wheels, though!
I don't think that all 3 (2 Bs + GTS) have been in attendance on the same day, though......... yet.

 

Even without Hutchence , those are always welcome. One of the occasional attendees (we met one day when I was out in the BBi) used to have a super-modded one.

@LightGuy and @willrace ......maybe we need to schedule an unveiling? It seems to me that there are not one but TWO Boxers that haven't seen the light of day in way too long. We can put a date on the calendar in 2020, maybe the October 9 Cars and Breakfast? That's 10 months away, plenty of time to get them prepared for a short drive. Think of the pictures! Two of the most awesome Ferrari's ever made, side by side in the morning sun. We can ask @Mr. Uy to be there with his camera!
