Hey Ken Ken, I wonder if Rosco ever met this guy Here's Ross' car owned by someone else Read the full story in the following URL and they mention Ross
I knew that car when Julian Sterling owned it and a small bunch of other select cars and other paraphernalia including a scale model of a Bleriot aircraft hanging from the ceiling! Very imposing car. ....and also I worked at Ateco when they first started importing Suzuki's,before Neville's time though. Thought you'd all be jealous
Pulsing brakes on the Ducati which is annoying, but I've got $150k eye candy to look at. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I worked with Ross after he had finished restoring the car and I'm sure Kenny worked on a lot of the bits of that car when Ross was at Williamstown in NSW. Kenny and I went to Ross' funeral a few years back Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ross was fanatical, it took him several goes in doing the body for the car until he was satisfied it fit the period style. The cars were delivered to people with JUST a chassis , engine, etc but no body ..... you took the running chassis to a coachbuilder in the day and they put the external body on the car to your liking so try doing a concourse originality on THAT
I should have got Ross to sign my copy of SCW with his article, now I'll have to get Wes to "get it signed" now
Not one that I'm happy with. I'll see what Ducati come back with.....but if it's not a set of new discs, there will be a problem.
No.... Metal pads and metal discs means deposits left on the discs when they get hot and try not to hold the front brakes on while stationary blah blah.... Doesn't make sense to me at all.
Ok, the reason I ask is that all the new cars I've bought, warranty states discs are wear and tear items and not covered. I suppose a manufacturing defect could be argued. Were the brakes pulsing when you bought it?
