    I just watched the mecum collector car auction today live on youtube

    lot 164: is a 275 GTS, 1,200.000 US $, not sold
    lot 173: a daytona, 500.000 US $, not sold
    lot 174: a daytona convertible done by straman, 425.000 US $, not sold
    lot 179: a 330 GTC, 600.000 US $, sold
    lot 197: a 330 GTC, 530.000 US $, not sold
    lot 208: a 512 BBi, 230.000 US $, sold

    lot 145: a cobra shelby 427 had shocked me: sold for 5.400.000 US $

    Carroll Shelby's personal 427 Cobra Roadster (Carroll Shelby is an American legend in the auto world :cool: :) )
    $5.4 million hammer + fees = $5.94 million
    It was restored back to it's "as delivered" condition. Note no side pipes or roll hoop.

    too bad the 275 GTS was not refinished in its original Gold. We’re not in the 80s anymore !!

    Add all the fees mecum gets on every sale it will blow your mind but they spend a lot of money making sure the right buyers are at their auctions with a huge variety and selection it’s always going to a show
