Actually, thinking back to that, the cops were targeting those areas at the time when those guys got caught .....
Yes but it was a statewide blitz...coincidence,don't know ask the blokes who got caught. Perhaps they were posting themselves in which case.....good luck to those sailing in her!!
I think you'd be surprised nowadays Greg. We rarely do any speeds where you could lose your license. We don't cross solid lines, regardless of overtaking ability, visibility etc simply because of the threat of dash cams. We don't blast past drivers in case we frighten them and causes them to make a complaint. We generally drive in a spirited manner, where if the speed limit is 100kph, we are attempting to do 100kph around the 40kph corners, not 250 on the straight and 40 round the corner. It's more about the laughs and tomfoolery that goes on during GG, and that's the memorable stuff. Morretts is correct. He usually leaves 10 mins early and pootles along at his own pace. We always wait for anyone whom is in a slower car, or decides they want to drive below the speed limit to look at the scenery. Believe me, it's NOTHING like it was even 6 years ago when I went on my first.
Fair enough. The last few I did, I had a resuscitation pack with me, IV lines, fluids etc 'cause I felt concerned someone would have a big incident in the middle of bum **** NSW
I'd certainly make a quick recovery if I saw you coming at me with an IV line - I bet you've had nurses do that for you for 25 years.
