    AH you are correct

It seems nobody wants a red tan on BAT .... Also it seems Late December really is not a good time to sell a car on BAT

    Title: Testarossa Price Trends

As long as fuel and parts are available at a reasonable price, the ‘value’ (not price) of these cars will slowly rise over time.

The ‘price’ will vary greatly based on rising/falling GDP and inflation/deflation.

Right now, our worldwide GDP is falling like a rock. Our money supply is inflating like a balloon. These will drive ‘price’ to a much greater degree than the slow, inherent increase in ‘value’ over time.

The real questions we should ask:
    Is GDP rising or falling?
Is money supply rising or falling?

If GDP falls (fewer goods) and money supplies grow (inflation), our Testarossas will drastically climb in price as a store of value. This is my expected case.

If the zombie apocalypse comes.... all bets are off. We’ll be bartering for food.

    What is your expected case?

Not really sure that global GDP will correlate much to the prices on these specific cars. TR’s are too much of a niche market.
Global GDP was up substantially between 2015 and 2019 yet TR prices declined almost 30% off of their peak.
Global GDP was off about 5% in 2020 yet TR prices increased 15%.
Increase in money supply may help but it will also help most other classic autos and hard asset prices.

At least somebody wanted it at $102K (+ fees if I understand correctly) - that was just the reserve not being consistent with the market.

The NOS logo on the rear bumper is terrifying. Can you imagine fogging that early motor car and expecting the gears and rear to hold up? That poor quill shaft....

Yea, and the light grey carpet under the front bonnet, it's like the assembly line guys got drunk at lunch and put it on as a joke.

Good to see the TR finally getting the respect it deserves. It’s great to drive and makes the most amazing sounds.

In that case the ones on Autotrader shouldn’t last too long then;)
People with AMC and GME shares should be rushing to buy those;)
