That I did. However, I'm retiring to a city not well suited to sports car ownership; primarily due to road conditions being a severe hazard to the car. Going to spend a couple months addressing the last couple of things I'd want fully sorted, then offer her here first.

Seems too good to be true but, as it's often said, the devil is in the details - of which not many are provided in the ad.

Man, that seems like a pretty good price. I could move on my 1980 911SC I bought and pick up another F-Car with only a minimal out of pocket investment.

Seems rather low to me, but I want a Spider anyway!

I wonder if that price included the Sotheby's 13% buyers premium?

 

nope, and no on the taxes (VAT, etc). I was watching through their feed when it hammered.

I think the car is gorgeous. Not clean, but awesome. I read years ago this car was purchased for only $80k through an auction.

 

The centerlock Speedlines is what makes this car for me.

 

70k for the 51k mile example on BAT. Good news for us owners.

Yep, that was my car I sold on here just a few months ago. NEVER would have expected that.

 

WHat is wrong with the rear suspension of that car that it has that severe level of toe-out in the rear?

I think Michael is confusing camber with toe because the picture makes it look like extreme camber.

 

When lowering severely the lower A arm shims can be removed resetting rear camber assuming the same amount is removed evenly front to back. It may or may not affect toe. I know some that have done it and gotten an alignment and did not need any changes post shim removal.

 

Yea hes a bit lost I'm guessing. Car handles beautfully.

Yep

 

348 SS with 65K miles went for 82,500. Previously owned by rvp325 sold to a dealer who flipped it.
