That's one way to get six wheels on the ground. I wonder what the upside is versus a typical dually setup?

They should have done portal axles like the Gwagen 6x6. It looks ridiculous with regular axles.

What's funny is it was a better rig before they cut it up and turned it into a 6x6... But I guess this is a style thing.

I friggin love f450s. I would never buy an f350 ever again. You brother need a 250 or a 450.

 

Why F450 over others? Dual rear wheels, greater towing capacity, something else?

Turning radius. The front axle is extended outwards and the front wheels can turn much farther.

Also I couldn't tell you exactly why... I haven't looked into it but the truck rides better than a 350 as well.

Somwoth the 450 you get the commercial grade 19.5 wheels and the increased turning radius. So if you need a tow rig... That's the rig.
