Between them I'd pick F50, especially based upon your criteria.

I'm not as close to the cars as you are (physically speaking), but these are my sentiments too...Though the F50 is undisputed #1 for me (that engine and 6 speed gearbox!). Love the Enzo also...Many dislike the looks but to me it still looks great. A real spaceship. I think the LaFerrari will age quite well, too (looks wise anyways..technology...likely not). Enzo particularly in black or yellow is absolute dream machinery. Makes the heart beat faster!

between those 2, i would take the f50.

however, as i have said before, at that price point, i would rather have a pagani.
    more rare, and better car.

Zonda's have gone into the stratosphere now....a single zonda cost as much as a F50 and LaFerrari together.

Huayra's still the same money as either F50/LaFerrari but, whilst beautifully put together, lacks emotion from the engine IMO.

I would take the F50 > any Pagani. Maybe not the best short term investment move, but that's just me.

Spot on, would not consider Zonda. Koenigsegg Jseko is the top end for non-Ferrari.

Zonda is the end all, be all for me...Sadly I never gelled with the Huayra that much.

Jesko is insane, too. The engineering by Christian is fantastic.

if i had $2.5 mil for a car right now, i would take either one.
the engine is loud enough for me :)
the build quality of a pagani makes a ferrari look like a kit car.

Fully agree with the latter. But the sound of the Huayra is a disappointment to me in comparison to Zonda (F and above).

Build quality is soooooooo far down the list of things when considering one of these cars. The F40 has no build quality per say other than it's put together and holds pretty well but looks like nobody cared about how it would looks and yet it's a masterpiece when it comes to emotions.
I'd even say Pagani has a beautiful build quality but looks like a byzantine bazar.

With regards to Dustan conundrum - i'd say start with an F50 and then add a LaFerrari. The F50 is probably the most pure and cleanest interpretation of what a Ferrari should be.

Totally off topic, but I am surprised F doesnt make a $30/$50M car in say 50 units. There’s enough wealth to absorb that. Why piddle around with V6 “LB” etc? Both are about $1.6B gross, the former takes the brand aspiration to a new level.

    Agree.

Part and parcel of IPO company? Now quantity via the masses, instead of distinction via the classes, so to speak.

They've gone crazy, sadly. Apparently there's a few very rich Zonda owners that have collectively been buying every Zonda on the market in order to put the prices up. Mission succeeded but Zonda ownership has now become a very select members only club. Coming up to decent yacht money...

Noise...drama...emotional connection. There is nothing more visceral than a Jaguar XJR-15.
