I must get that book, a loverly guy Spencer, a real gentleman imo.

I always remember he took me for some laps in Kerry Manolas' F40 around Lakeside back at the Qld National Rally in '92 I think, we then had a warm ongoing friendship after that, often catching up at Ferrari & other track meets, spending some time together at the '94 US meet in Carmel & when I had my Scuderia I offered him some laps at SMSP, he was incredibly humble & appreciative - even though he'd driven some of the most magnificent Ferrari's that we'd only dream about - of being given the opportunity.

 

Nice, always found him friendly and welcoming.
