    Jeepers - got into a bit of a barney with a wonderful old mate of mine today - whom is not a car guy at all.

    He was telling me how some of his mates are buying whatever the new Tesla is and I was saying yeah, whatever, they are basically appliances no matter how fast they are in a straight line...

    He was quite offended and was trying to tell me that these guys are car "enthusiasts"

    I said (and maintain) that no proper car enthusiast would consider a Tesla an enthusiast's car...

    For a tech head like me I find them incredible..... And the new ones can actually do track work now.... In other words, no longer just a one trick pony.

    The acceleration is mind numbing already and the plaid+ is significantly faster again. The performance and tech will blow your socks off.

    I love them and if they were a bit smaller, I'd have one in a heart beat (along with the 308)
