Ferrari gift

I had ordered 488 spider. About 2 month ago when they start production they sent a e-mail to me as they said "while you waiting for the car we sent the gift to you go to your persoanl area in account and follow the instructions".I did same
Now it is two month there is no sign of any gift and my car going to deliver to me end of August 2018.when I spoke with my dealer he said

""""The gift that Ferrari is referencing is not the model car but something else, a surprise gift so I can’t tell you what it is.


That surprise gift has been arriving at our dealership typically about a month after the car arrives here and we contact you when it arrives.


The model scale car typically arrives about 6 months to 1 year after the new car arrives."""
That's right??

 

I received my ‘17 Spider in April of last year. About 6 months later I received the model car. My dealer informed me Ferrari switched the gift to a package that includes a smaller car along with some other items. I assume this is what you will receive.

My dealer doesn't know what my gift will be.

 

My car was ordered on 10/31/17 arrived on 4/18/18. I am yet to receive a "gift".

 

My car delivered in April and the dealer gave me the gift at that time. It is a box encased with CF and contains a model of your car along a placeholder for your key fob. A nice display box for your office. Hope you get your gifts soon but I would keep asking your dealer

 

That sounds nice. What scale is the car?

 

I would hope it's 1:1.

My best guess of the scale is about 1:64, slightly larger than a hot wheels car. But I will take a look and give you the exact dimensions. The car is stainless now unfortunately as prior cars use to be painted in the same colors as your ordered car.

 

I got this reply from Ferrari customer service
"We are sorry to hear that you have not received your gift yet, but we will kindly ask you to get further updates from your dealer, who is the person in charge of giving gifts"

might be dealer is holding the my gift is it true?

Image Unavailable, Please Login Eventually, they will send you a model of the car that you bought. It won’t fit into the case but you can show it separately on your desk. The model is mostly correct and shows the chassis number of your car.

 

I got my 488 Spider picture and keyholder, but never this small model.

Has anyone received gifts for Porftofino or 812?

 

I called the dealer today and they sent me this: Car arrived in the U.S Jan 16 2020... very poor service on the part of marketing.

Three years after ordering my Portofino,I received a 1/43 model with the correct paint,interior,and wheels. It also came with some other items like a number plaque and photos of the car on the assembly line.

Got mine 6 months via post after picking up ex demo porto from the dealer. Exactly same colour.
