I tested out my Auti 225 Quattro yesterday & consistently got 6.0, intrigued to see what I can shave off it with a remap etc.

Also I'm excited now to see what my 348 can get when the conditions improve, especially after the planned mods.

These cars are lacking in the torque department, no surprise.
A decent launch requires a high rpm clutch drop and some wheel spin. Anything less you will bog quite a bit.
Anyway, a my 355 is pretty consistent at 5secs when doing a normal launch ( meaning fully bogging lol)
I'm fairly confident 4.5 would be possible with a great launch.

I think my high score is about 16 seconds in a 1989 VW Cabriolet.

With the 1 ft. roll out, my best in my old 2012 Turbo S was 2.69 secs.
Without roll out it was 2.88 sec.
My new to me 2017 Turbo S should be even quicker with the tune I have.

    Here's a vid.

I'm not sure what the figure is but my 991.1 Turbo S is definitely the fastest to 60 I've experienced thus far.

If it's stock, it should be around the 2.7 - 2.8 mark with a good prepped / clean surface.
my 991.2 is supposedly about a tenth or so quicker. And the new 992 Turbo S is yet again another .1 or so quicker again.
Mine's tuned though, so on a track it should be closer to 2.3-2.5 ish.

I'm sure somebody here has a calculator for estimating 0-60 times from 1/4 or 1/8 mile data. Here's my best run a few years back at test & tune. You can watch me get beat by a 4 door Cadillac:

I waited at the lights for the data logger to start recording and then the thing quit on me during the 2-3 shift so I never got the accelerometer data...
    60': 2.022 s
    330': 5.813 s
    1/8 mile: 8.912 s @ 77.87 mph
    1/4 mile: 13.801 @ 101.69 mph

Anybody have a good estimate for 0-60 from that?

    Mathematically, 0-60 was on my 1961 Citroen 2CV, 425cc, 12 HP (couldn't reach 60 mph).

It's interesting what you said about it being difficult to shift quickly in the info. Matt Farah on The Smoking Tire was attributing the 0-60 not being great due to it being dog legged

I don't care, too hard on the clutch and drive train doing that sort of thing......

I would agree that the 0-60 time is compromised by the dogleg 1-2 gear change though.

Are you referring to the 348 or 355 being hard to shift?
I've actually been very happy with the ease of shifting. No problem banging through to gears imo

It is difficult to shift quickly. What you see in that video is about as fast as I can shift the transmission without it grinding (and the 2-3 shift does grind just a bit if you listen for it). In contrast, I have a 10 second Nova with a Richmond Super Street 5 speed and Long shifter and I can power shift it all day. It definitely comes down to the synchro/cone design + gear oil I think. I don't think the dogleg pattern plays much part because I can 2-3 shift my Nova really fast. I have heard the 355 has a better gearbox and is much easier to shift quickly, but I haven't driven one to know for sure.
