That looks very clean Simon, well done. Does the 8 still have the sliding pillar front suspension? If so, pay special attention to maintaining it as per the Morgan specs.
Thank you Ian. I have the list of resto/modifications done to this thing......4 pages of lovliness for the mechanically minded. I am very happy to share them with anyone interested but by email only as I've know idea how to do it otherwise....as an example the standard red line of the 3.5 original engine was at 5200,the 3.9 in this car is..............7500! The more knowledgable will notice there is a single round air filter fitted.........to the Edelbrock carby not the standard SU's. Suspension is not standard anymore....
That's always the the idea Pete though as I was saying to Arv,I'll be bringing the Shagger on the GAD 'cos I want you to be in front of me! .........and besides that one of my dad positions in the RAF was tailgunner,I owe it to him to uphold the tradition!
I'd suggest he's on permaban from the GAD.. Actually it's funny,I camped my last night at the Commercial in Clermont and parked around the back. Firstly the publican goes on about his mate down the coast,I don't recall where, saying he had a BMW V8 twin turbo. I sez 'oh really' thinkin BS.......out comes the pic..yep he does, and flicks him some pics of mine. Then this heavily tatted muscley bloke walks in and sez to the publican 'who's Morgan'...I hold my hand up. He sez he's got a mate in Airlie Beach with one...I believe HIM!.
