So the +1 size works without any rubbing or electronic aid issues? MPS4s in 255/35ZR 20 & 315/30ZR 20?

Always been a fan of Michelin tires (MPS, MPS2, MPSS, and MP4S), all great with improvements with each generation. Excellent dry and wet grip and they are usually a couple pounds lighter than their nearest competitor (cheap way to reduce unsprung weight). Agree that MPSC2 are overkill for the street. In fact they are less desirable unless you are tracking because they are terrible in the wet, take longer to warm up, and when they are hot, fling stones down the side of the car and mirror. I have even had stones thrown in my open window (Pista where they are standard)!!! Agree with others, have only had a few sets of various Pirelli's but they are not my favorite.

    Yep.
You are only increasing the radius by 2.6 mm and the tread width by 5.5 mm compared to the MPSS K3. The MPS4S run a bit narro, hence why this size works well. Unless you park a car with MPSS K3 shoes next to it, it will be very hard to tell. But if you use MPS4S in stock size, they look somewhat narrow. The Lusso and Porsche spec 245 fronts are close, but not quite there, and the Porto/Roma spec MPS4S is borderline laughable for a 245. They have a tread that is a whopping 13 mm narrower than the K3 MPSS for the 488/F8.
If you install general purpose MPS4S 245's on an F8, you lose about 7 mm tread. That may not sound like a lot, but it matters quite a lot, especially in hard corners as the tyre starts to roll out on the edge.

Was looking at doing the +1 sizes. The fronts definitely provide more tread area, but the rears show identical tread width of 11.2” between the 305/30 and the 315/30. Is there any real advantage to going to the 315 then?

One of my friends made this nice silver and black Ferrari Prancing horse collage art piece, since she knows how much I love Ferrari. But she didn’t know the color of the car! I told her she must be psychic :)

Yes. The added circumference adds to the contact patch. Also when you turn, it offers greater shoulder stability as the car leans out and rolls on to the shoulder. And lastly, you keep the overall weight balance of the car unchanged by raising both the front and rear end.

I ended up with Pzeros. Was not informed that I could have had the Michelin’s which are a much better tire. Have them on my 458

Received my vehicle and there are MPS Cup 2 on the wheels. This was with ordering the high performance tire option.

I just specifically asked for them. I wasn't aware of any "High Performance Tire Option". If there was a cost, must've been buried in the "other options" on the windshield sticker.

Yep. There is no "high performance" Pirelli option, i.e there's no PZero Corsa.

You cannot order the regular Michelins. You get what is in stock. As the MPSS is phased out, the F8 shoe is most often fitted with Pirelli. Sometimes dealers will swap them, but that's about it. Give it a good excercise and you are rid of them in less than two months.

It's pretty insane how expensive those Cup 2's get compared to what the price is elsewhere.

Not only do the high performance option charge twice the price, Ferrari don't even refund the price of the PZero's you get for free. In other words, they charge you for two extra sets of Cup 2's which you could buy while still getting your standard tyres. I think this must be an option that is even more silly than the Car Play from a price standpoint. If one subtracted the price of the tyres Ferrari keep, it should be what, a 200-300 usd option.

    Makes no sense

It might be as simple as his dealer just swapped them considering that they cost about the same. The dealers shop can just use those new Pzeros when another client buys new tyres during service
