A freiend of mine is restoring a Fiat Dino. Do you have an engine pic? We are having trouble confirming the correct valve cover colour. thanks
Does my bum look big? Just having wheel geometry alignment. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Silver or Prugna are my two next favourite colours in a 308 after Rosso Corso. Beautiful car Alberto.
Thanks for asking. Here are some photos of the engine compartment. As far as I know it never had been rebuilt. The Dino spider is #282, one of first 500 cars built by Fiat homologated for Enzo's F2 racing. Very much original, no MSD, orig coil and down to the Cavit sparkplug wires. I am sure the sodium filled valves are still inside . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Since I acquired it a year ago it has been seviced by the Italian Fiat trained Alberto Perroni (Ital Mecannica) in Huntington Beach California. It's quite funny when I complained the Dino was still leaking oil after he replaced numerous gaskets, Alberto says "if it's not leaking it's not Italian". Alberto on the right with an ASA engine on the Dino. The photo was taken yesterday. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have seen this car in person, it is concours! So is the man lol. And he has the worlds best collection of Schedoni luguage and wrote the book!
The lines and the color really stir the soul.....I can envision the sketch on the board for the first time!
You are joking, of course, but the day you will really want to buy one, I can provide a car in the model and color you will like with search, inspection, PPI and so on: I already did it several times. Ciao
