I gave the Silver Cloud lll and the Corniche a feed in last few months.

Need to be so careful with the old leathers ,so easy to pull colour out of them ,I never use a cleaner ,just food.

I just had the panel beater call me about painting the 355. He said it would be 40+.
I'm not sure on doing it now.

Find a different painter. That's ridiculous.

 

I thought it was a bit high. I had budgeted 20 - 25 maybe. I mean it's a spider, so no roof, and the top will be off of it and the engine out.
Still, it would be a very good job, but i'm not sure I want a perfect paint job because I drive the farken thing

 

Just work out the air-con wiring so you can fix mine .... I need it done soon, I'm dying in that HOS

A shiny car won't suit your 355's purpose IMO.

 

I’d get it wrapped mate to minimise the chips but it’s the rear that is a bit yucky, not the front, but I’ve got another very reputable paint/panel guy coming up from Bris to have a look and give me an idea on price. While the engine is out and the roof is off, now’s the time to get it painted. AND one of Brisbane’s best upholstery shops isn’t far from there, so it could kill two birds with one stone. (And a lot of farkin money).
