I’ve been looking for an FF for a few months now and share a similar sentiment. Subjectively, It’s one of the last great interiors for Ferrari 2+2’s as I consider the quality and materials in the Lusso being a small step back. And with such incredible leather/color combinations available, I’m disheartened by the sheer number of base options and Nero leather. The Cuoio and similar shades all look spectacular with the more adventurous exterior colors. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Id say quality is even, but tech is better in the lusso. My issue with the lusso is the sound and overall too smooth. Great car but doesn’t justify to me the price difference as of now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Subjective, but yes from my perspective. Local dealer has 2 Lusso’s and I explored them both yesterday. Leather feel. Use of plastic appeared to be greater in the Lusso, even the smell was better in the FF. Quality - fit and finish - may have been better in the Lusso, but I didn’t pay enough attention. My 2011 FF with 42k miles still smells good when you open the door Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Take a look at this thread and review by Brian L. Quite enlightening in terms of his knowledgeable comments about the leather quality. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/gtc4-drive-inspection-and-review.533125/
Thanks, I just read it. He is right about a few things (e.g. plastic front badge), but most of what he complained about seems to stem from the Lusso he drove being a basic spec car (eg leather). I really don't recognise most of it.
Just a quick glance at cars.com and I only find 16 FFs for sale around the country. Not many! I would think prices should be holding a bit.
So glad to hear! I am always concerned that when I treat the leather I will lose that smell. The top three things I love about my FF are the sound, looks, and smell. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I agree mine has 36k miles and still smells new...I’d replace many stickies so that the rest looks the part too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wish we knew what the sticker was on it as i just crossed 35k miles. My sticker was 380 if I remember. 2012s were the laferrari orders so they were big.
These are always funny posts. If you look at the timing, it is really "Hey, I'm not salty about a newer version of my car coming out, really I'm not." I am a Lusso owner, and prior to buying it, also drove the FF several times. When the FF came out, I immediately lusted for the car but never pulled the trigger (my garage was full and I didn't need another "fun car" at that time). That being said, by the time the GTC4Lusso came out, I was glad I waited. To me, the Lusso is better in every respect, and not even close. Its an evolution that got rid of many of the problems people had with the FF. Seems like most complaints about the Lusso from this thread are about "cheap build quality", which honestly applies to every Ferrari made in the last 10 years. I don't find the FF any better built. In the end, both cars are great and at two price points, but arguing that one will be more collectible than other etc, is a bit silly.
I had the advantage of buying when both the FF and the GTC4 Lusso were both out. I could have purchased either one. The reason I bought the FF was I didn't like the changes in the exterior styling of the Lusso. I didn't like the indentation in the middle of the hood, the fish gill front quarter panels and the styling of the rear deck area. On the interior I didn't care for the seats, but I must say the dash and screen were an improvement. But it is all a matter of taste, to each his or her own. If I ended up buying a Lusso, I know I still would be as happy as a pig in ......
113k for a car with that mileage ...FF holding its value now I say. Makes me happy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey for once I’m the one who made the wise investment buy the dip they say! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah mine was redone under warranty and it was a few grand. Heck everything is expensive, today I received StickyRx buttons for my Hvac and they cost 75 bucks for 3 peel and stick caps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
