Unfortunately didn't save them. I don't want to see them again either it will just piss me off. :D The dealer kind of did ****** around and screwed my position in closing the deal but it is what it is. Tough to fight for a car when you're not there in person. Japanese dealership customs/games are also super weird.

Tough market to compete in. The Japanese pay to play. You're at a major disadvantage being outside the country. About 4-5 months ago, 355 black/red carbon seats showed up in the Japanese auction. I bid $7k. I don't even like the seats all that much, but I felt the bid was high enough to win. Auction ended at $13k lol.

I tried looking around for a manual F355 GTB/GTS and not much outside of what I have already posted. RSD is selling a beat up challenge car for $200k.

Rare desirable assets are being bought up worldwide. Get what you can and ride the wave.

RS-Dino is a reputable race shop and dealer specializing in Ferraris. Tons of used Ferraris move through them all the time and they are about 1-2 hours away from Tokyo in the suburbs. I've actually been here before. The dealership is in an alley in between a bunch of residential homes lol.

Not specifically as I'm not actively looking to sell but will if the right price comes along.

    So I guess, a lot?

Oh don't worry it sits under a satin cover and only comes out for a spin around the block once every few months.

I personally would value the carbon seats closer to $20k USD. $13k USD was a fair price.

If you compare with other 90s era cars that had carbon seat options...they're all worth $20k range. The 355 has lagged because the overall value of the cars have lagged.

You should’ve told me you were willing to pay $20k. I would have gladly bid $13k :).

I'm not saying I would pay that for them loose...but that's what I value them at inside a nice example of a car.

Take a look at the variance in values for Porsche 964's and 993's that are equipped with the right seats. :)

I’ve only seen RHD Ferraris in Thailand. Not sure how this LHD ended up there. Might not be desirable. You might get lucky :).

Serviced / sorted and no stories I'd expect to be closer to 100 with a low mile final year manual spider.

I read comments like this often and they make no sense to me.

Many times these come out of a larger collection of cars, you can only drive so much.

Yeah I put about 4-500km on my cars a year. Even my daily drivers are fairly low mileage given their age.

People with higher mileage cars say this in my experience haha. The truth is everyone wants as low a mileage as possible when buying one depending on availability and budget. I see benefits of both moderate mileage cars and low mileage cars. No need to talk down either. Buy on condition, and enjoy it as you see fit.
