Hay, no problemo for Moretti. Just paint them white and put that number plate back on. Again. [emoji16] Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh you poor darling. You are hilarious! Completely clueless! Your version of the story is full of inaccuracies. That's funny enough..... But the venom cracks me up! I still blame Simon, but I stick to my opinion that the 328gts is the second least desirable of the 3** series. The GTB, incidentally, is a significantly better car than the GTS. The GTS lacks charisma and has a chassis constructed out of spaghetti. Should I point out all the inaccuracies in your post? Maybe in the next post. I'm hungry.

I blame me as well for bringing up the whole 'pecking order' subject as well.................................................. .....can we start from the top again
Simon so I don't have to reread this whole thread or another why is it that you, Pete & others don't like the 328, I had a new 328GTS for a number of years from '89, won numerous class & FTD's at Ferrari tracks days in it, imo it was honestly a step up from the 308 at the time, I drove it to Adelaide & Queensland national rallies & heaps of other events & loved the car.
The trouble is that a 328 owner didn't have the intellectual capacity to pick up on criticism being relative to other Ferraris, but rather took the criticism personally and as if it was comparable to a 1983 corolla or something. He ignored context and slightly overreacted lol.
Pete, sooo the discussion probably started on a GG where the subject of a 'pecking order' amongst 308 series cars came up. A couple or so years ago I started a discussion of the above to guage what the thoughts were on this knowledgeable forum.....well didn't THAT go down well.! The problem was,as PP has indicated some folk took the 'list' REALLY personally for most of the wrong reasons. The list was primarily about the desirability of the series..not necessarily what was the better car...though most would agree the GTSi was NOT the better car! That's about it in a nutshell.
As noted several times, when looking for a garagemate to the 365,a one owner Aussie Vettro with 42K genuine klms/miles came up in Vic....I gave it great consideration. It was only after buying the 330 that I sat, scrunched,in MG's Vettro...lucky escape! A GTS didn't/doesn't interest me.
