I reckon I'd probably make more $$ by stripping and parting my car out when it comes time to sell.

The one I have coming is Blue Le Mans on Beige/Black with sport seats and manual.

 

There was a period in time where it absolutely made sense to buy 355's that were running and driving and part them out. That's when they were around $40-45k for driver quality examples. That's when I bought my first one...I think that was the absolute bottom of the market at the time.

 

Well if my airbag alone is worth $3k, then the sports seats etc. Things like the ABS blocks on 94's go for a fortune as well.

Yeah for sure...was just saying about 6-7 years ago now is when the market was at the bottom and just the engine and interior bits alone were worth more than their asking prices in some cases. Like buying a house below replacement value.

Yes indeed. The market certainly does seem to be on the up and up for all rare luxury items at the moment. Rare coins and watches are going absolutely gangbusters too.

 

Probably most, I agree. If I had to replace mine it would 100% have to be another 95 berlinetta.

I think a unique color combo would be nice but my personal priority would be condition and MY.

Not 355, but we are just finishing this - well my builder is. 400hp. Dyno and road tuning after Dallas thaws.

I peg this car at $50k as it sits. We believe market would $100k in 5yrs. Pure speculation, but one of two in the world built to this level. Definitely some euro cars and s38 builds that may be better?

Modern AC and stand alone engine management. Will spank my Ferrari if I can get the power down [emoji41]
