Hi guys, I am new to Ferrari and looking to order an 812 sf but not in a rush. Will the superfast and gts be discontinued once the VS/GTO come out in 2022 ish? Thanks!

As I understand it you cannot order either a SF or a GTS at this point.
Many SF to select from on preowned market at significant discounts to MSRP.

The 812 superfact is not produced anymore, since August 2020.

For the GTS I don't know.

812SF is still being produced, but only a veeeery few numbers.

812GTS is also still being produced, with « high » numbers, but there is no allocation left for this model. You can order one only if an allocation is cancelled by a client. The 812GTS and 812VS will most probably be built simultaneously, with 812GTS production decreasing and 812VS production increasing.

I disagree. A production line is either open or closed. It can not be half open.

Production ended in 2020 , @Marcel Massini said there were two chassis left to be assembled in January 2021, and that's it

If you are not in a rush, you are not going to get an 812. The 812SF has been off the order books for nearly a year, and virtually all GTS allocations are gone.

As for an 812 VS? Forget it if you are a new client. That would take quite the miracle for that to happen. The last 812 VS cars will roll.off the line in late 2022 or so. After that, no more 812.

If you want an 812 GTS you better start calling dealers right now.

There's a difference between orders Bering taken and cars being built. There are definitely a few in production. I knkw of at least one TM car that is still being built - if it's not on the truck as I type this. But you cannot order one, no matter what. Order books are closet.

@Il Co-Pilota, I agree with you and am totally in line. Ordering and building are different. Dcmetro said that the 812SF « is not produced anymore », this is why I corrected him by saying that a few are still being built - but of course, the orders have been closed some months ago already.

As per the 812GTS, from the « 812GTS allocation » thread - and from what you also previously said - all the allocations seem to have been attributed already.

Technically, there is no "812" production line. There is a V-12 line. There is mostly GTS's on the line now, but wouldn't be surprising if a few SF's and Monza's and Lusso's also on it.

Sometimes a V-8 gets thrown into the V-12 line - probably due to mismanagement of some item :)

I am sure Marcel said they were only going to build just 3 more SF at some point, so in effect it is closed as you cannot order one.
Back on track. Will anyone be brave enough to share a photo or two on the 18th?

Ferrari is really great at creating this buzz and mystique around availability of their cars. It's funny how human psychology takes effect when supply perceived as low or high.

Unbelievably an 812 VS (called an 812 GTO in the advertisement) has popped up on Pistonheads (Widely used UK site).
Delivery in 2022 but no price quoted.
    Caveat Emptor springs to mind.

That’s because every country/region has their set of allocations by Marenello and if a region’s quota is not met it will be available to order.

812 SF production has not yet ended. If Marcel said that (and I don't know if he did since I didn't see it myself) he was mistaken or misinterpreted.
