    Ok....I'll spill the beans. We sold the 747 because it was just too big. We traded it on an Air France Concorde. Had it painted like a big Swiss flag. Decked out inside with no expense spared.

    I used it to travel between drives in my 288gto in Italy and my 250gto in the states.

    I did 283 hours until it started leaking oil after a visit to Phil's workshop.

    Obviously I couldn't cope with that so I flogged it.
