I commented on the video. Even without knowing the back story it’s a disgraceful waste of parts at the minimum.

 

Don't get it. They have a link to a used car parts seller. Very poorly judged publicity stunt?

Does the Netherlands have one of those barbaric laws for repeat traffic offenders where they crush your vehicle?

 

One less F355 in the world. Prices on the up. HOLD as @ShineKen says lol.

The owner had a pressing engagement...

 

The exhaust note was a little flat.

 

On one had my reaction was WTF?!

On the other hand there have been many times I have felt like doing that to my ol’ 348.

Thing is,
Too many times people will piss on a car with a salvage title, or that the maintenance hasn’t been done to perfection according to the factory recommended schedule, or that it has too many miles on the odometer and thus “is not worth” the price, or they are sick and tire of getting ripped off for insane maintenance and parts prices, or that the car is not in concourse factory mint condition, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

So .......... crush the damn thing!!!

I can see how it comes to that. Not that it was pretty, or that I agreed with it, but I understand how it can come about.

 

What a waste. That car looked intact from what I could tell. It could have been fixed up or parted out. Very sad.

 

Looks like this happened at least a year ago.




Did anyone see a pre-airbag steering wheel by any chance lol? Welp. At least the front clear signals are still intact.

 

Not sure what the story is but even if that took place years ago they wasted a lot of money going about it all the wrong way

 

California in a couple of years.

 

What a damn waste, so many parts could be saved.

 

i would have paid shipping, handling, import fees, etc... to have that shipped here.

The only time I've seen nice cars destroyed is either when they're a manufacturer test vehicle kind of like the vipers that Dodge ended up finding and destroying across the country. Or when there is some kind of weird government seizure.
Pretty odd though

 

I think it was the Philippian government, seized a bunch of "illegal"' imported super cars. Saw a video of the cars being run over by a bulldozer. Makes a car guy want to cry!
