I vote Le Mans. Also fits with the recent announcement of joining back in the WEC.
I am guessing 812 Daytona like several of you seem to be honing in on. I, of course, have tons of credibility because I guessed the name of the Roma prior to its launch (despite many saying it was a dumb name!). Let’s see if I can go 2/2
Track names to be used then I prefer my favorite, Vallelunga which has no chance to be selected.. One day, I would go there with my car and drive it like I did million times in the simulater. Such a great track. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Thanks .. I’d consider an SA for sure - not so much the F40 unless it was an LM! Enzo /F50 standard specs / tdf rosso nuovo 2007 f1/ both SF ( electricco blue ) and pista (my Giallo triple strato ) Tailor Made / portofino rosso .... the press car was from another owner at a local dealership and I ended negotiating buying it ...
Yes, my 50th birthday and my new born baby boy ( who we took there ) and factory collection of my tailor made pista ..
I like MM, thinking about the LeMans announcement, it is so exciting, but LeMans is a great, but obvious choice. MM could be a nod to the 166MM (a V12 powered car), which if I remember correctly, was the car that Ferrari won at LeMans in his first try as a constructor in 1949, which was the first year they ran the race after the war. I also think this was the first time someone won as a constructor in their first attempt. So, a very important sign post in building the legend and the myth, and now, over 70 years later, wouldn't it be nice to take stock and reflect on all the amazing achievements, as well as look forward to new horizons....
MM stands for Mille Miglia, a famous race that no longer exists. Considering the recent LMH program announcement, I think 812 LM is a good bet.
" a special place close to the track and he's heading to the new building to see how it progressed" . may be this? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd also prefer an Italian name (like the ones I mentioned before.. albeit kinda "Lambo-ish") but I have to say "Daytona" sounds really nice. In Ferrari's history? No, I don't think so. But Pagani unveiled a special Huayra named "Imola" last year. Vallelunga in Assetto Corsa was my favourite one, especially the first corners..such a blast with the 599XX Evo!
