Sounds so sweet! Unfortunately, that is without catalytic converters. I wonder how would it sound with sports catalytics. Any videos?
That is an error on our part (will correct the initial post) The second video indeed has 100 cell sport cats from Novitec on it.

There has been a lot Pista exhaust chatter of late. Can you describe the difference in sound between the valved muffler and the X pipe valveless one? I have heard some clips, but always difficult to tell.
The biggest difference is of course the fact that you can open and close the valves. That said, the other difference here is tone in general. The X pipe/ race version tends to be a bit more aggressive than the valved, even when "open."
I know you installed a lot of valveless on the standard 488. Do you find a bigger difference with just the X pipe vs the valved, if one is not doing cats? Meaning more of a change to the OEM sound with the valveless?
Yes, certainly more change with the Valveless system. With that in mind though, the largest change will be that combined with sport cats, or cat replacements.

I can’t find a better sound than the Novitec. My only concern with the valved version is the burning issue of the PPF that SECRET had. I wonder if the TAG guys have had issues with about of the cars they’ve done?
I agree, that remains a concern. With that said, I would go with the valveless one. To me, it doesn't make sense to have a valved exhaust. However, I am not certain that it would not be different with a valveless exhaust.
It also has the X pipe configuration that I want. I’m not necessarily looking for more sound, but crafting a different tone.
Well Kline does not have a OBD plug in to clear the CELs, but you could use the Novitec Techtronic or the Capristo OBD wizard with the Kline system to clear the codes.
Thus far we have not seen that issue with the F8's that we have done in house. We do agree with you all however, the Novitec version BY FAR has the overall best sound.
That's what he said, which is definitely a concern. Have you had any experience with that on Pistas Sean?
I did not know that. I thought it would not work. Anyway, Kline took too long to release their F8 exhaust. But what a piece of art it is.
