My old "sports" Doctor at the Epworth hospital drove a similar car for years up and down Bridge road ,he was eccentric and interesting . My old T Series had her annual service this week, been like a bearing noise from around the fan pulley area , nope just power steering belts that had gone dry, now the motor for an old thing that has done a lot of Miles , dead quiet ,belts just need some lubrication .. She is a rough old thing in the cosmetics my T Series but a joy to drive and ride in, as the mechanic said ,"she will never let you down"
What Simon is the reference of the opening credits of "Minder " got too do with a man driving his S Series old fighter in London ? or my comment re my drive back from picking my old girl up after her annual service ?

The last photo is a Silver Wraith , my father bought that car in the late 60s for the number plate VIC 221, it was a manual gearbox and from memory a one owner car , Mum one day drove us to school in it , a truckie yelled out "you doing it for a joke LUV"
