Interestingly 192 point PPI through Ferrari doesn’t include a compression test........that will be an extra $700 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have some advice for you. It seems you have money burning a hole in you pocket. If so, buy a car and enjoy yourself. However, it wasn't long ago that an Aussie delivered QV was $50k, a dealer paid $70k for a good condition Aussie delivered 360 F1 spider a good 430 was $150k Max a 458 was $250k and a 488 was very low $300. I don't see anything making the current prices stay where they are moving forward. That's all.
I think you should probably add about 40k to each price, but yes. You’re correct. Again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You have to pay to play, buy a car and enjoy it. If it’s worth less in a few years than you can stand, don’t sell it. Easy peasy Silly signature here to annoy KIAI
2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge Auto-SSE-AD-7052393 - carsales.com.au Apparently ad says it eats Pista's for breakfast and is more reliable to run than the 488 EVO and cheaper. Really??? Last night at the Club track night it broke down with an oil leak but the 3 x 488 EVO's ran all night faultlessly. From what I could see its not a cheap fix on this breakdown. And the Pista kept doing laps whilst this 458 Challenge sat leaking oil I wonder sometimes!!!
Surely it would be seconds a lap faster than a pista wouldn't it? Lighter....downforce....slicks. It should be a reliable as an other 458. Isn't it mechanically identical?
Not really. The Pista it is well known is faster straight line speed than even the latest 488 EVO. That is fact. The aero on the 488 EVO and 458 Challenge then helps it round corners compared to a Pista but the 458 Challenge does not eat the Pista for breakfast LOL. As for reliability I have seen 430 and 458 Challenge spend lots of time in the garage on track days for many issues so no they are not reliable at all in my opinion. He needs to change the ad and put currently under repair due to reliability issues.
+1 Life is too short to **** around! Buy a car and enjoy now while you still have your health, no one is promised tomorrow.
