Any chance of finding the original image and see what meta data is within the pic? Might find the actual lat/long

Quite simple - "Pixelgarde" is a great app to check on whats in the pic

I will do some searching to see if I can find the source file

Curiosity can be a powerful force!

Like I mentioned earlier, the keyboard is Mandarin-Taiwanese, as can be confirmed by searching for pictures of such a keyboard. However, the text reflected in the screen is Japanese. One of my friends who can read Japanese said that the text is too blurry to make out completely, but a portion of it says "sweet".

On Instagram, one can see the full-sized version (whatever was uploaded) of a picture by appending "/media?size=l" to the URL of the post in question. However, that will just show a possibly larger photo because Instagram strips metadata upon posting.

Having said that, there could be lurking out there a version of that image file with geotagging metadata intact.

I think so, because @ppg70 said the rear will have something in common with the Omologata and the SP38 Deborah.

The camera in the C8 corvette has incredible resolution. It is a little strange forcing your eyes to focus on the screen rather than the image.

May start looking at Japan Ikea's, there are not too many so it shouldn't be too much work.

Willing to bet the cock-eyed rear flap is long gone. Also seem to remember the still unexplained whine in that VS track video. Was not a turbo or supercharger sound and definitely not a typical N/A engine sound.

I have, it’s strange. The issue is that the perspective of the camera is completely different from a mirror. You’re looking from the back of the car, rearwards, instead of from the windscreen, through the cabin and rear screen, rearwards. Maybe it is something you get used to but I only drove a car like that for a few miles so never did.

Do we know for certain it is that arrangement? Is it not possible that there is a small window that allows some rearward visibility? I would personally be a little surprised if Ferrari used the camera technology, not sure why?

What if ferrari used the digital rearview mirror technology of the Maserati MC20? Small fin at the base of the tailgate, which reproduces a perfect view of the rearview mirror, even if there was a small rear window..

    I hadn’t realised the MC20 had that. I would guess that’s what we’re getting. I prefer a mirror but it’s no biggie.

The 488 Challenge car has a rear camera with a smallish screen mounted on the dash and I have always found it super difficult to get used to, especially when racing. I almost always tried to use the side mirrors when possible. You don’t get a good sense of the depth of field. If you have a car right on your tail it fills the screen if it is only slightly behind that it looks very small.

I believe SF90 has a rear camera/ view screen where the rear mirror would be as an option?

If there is no real rear window, and there are horizontal slats from the rear onto the roof ( for the coupe), it would allow a more square /boxy rear giving the aggressive backside several have discussed . If then there were 2 exhausts higher up and 2 more laterally then again would make the rear more angular and squarer than the 812. A more corporate Pista /SF90 front end would then give the net effect of an extremely ‘haunch’ masculine silhouette and change the Sexy feminine lines of the 812 into a muscular / testosterone fuelled sub 900 bhp, Approx 10,000 rpm Exocet rocket ....
