lol. no to your no! FF is such a fun 4 real seaters I ever have. 660 HP, NA V12. no more in the market except lusso.
Image Unavailable, Please Login 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo S. A great daily driver, faster than my 488 Spider, smooth linear power, but without the sounds and vibration of ICE, and despite the enhanced electric “Tron” sound, misses some emotional characteristics.
I have driven the Taycan Turbo and it is definitely FAST. I can only imagine the “S” is even quicker. Nice ride!!!
I did not say no to the FF (or a Lusso, for that matter). I said no to the color and the wheels, double no! And yes to the NA V12. Drove once and loved that damn thing.
Please tell me how you like it. The rainforest got hit hard by the hurricane but it revived with a vengeance. Wear good quality/fitting sneakers or hiking shoes. You will thank me later.
Yea... almost bit on that one. Thank God I didn't. I am a nEVer kind of guy. However, if I were, the Taycan would be the one.
How is the Dodge TRX for a DD'er? The numbers the TRX put down for a truck get into sports car territory.
It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever owned. It's a street legal desert runner that does 0-60 in the high 3s, looks like a toy truck, sounds like the Greek god Exostus, whines like Stanford undergrad, and is as comfy as a 73 Eldorado. I mean, it just puts a huge grin on my face every time I drive it, except at the gas station and if I don't have a 200 yard wide parking space. If you like fun things, this is a fun thing.
Well I was going to wear the open toed Chacos that hold your feet very tight via straps. Is it the open toed I should worried about or something else? The Chacos are a VERY stable platform, but the toes ARE open.
The world is going EV, thats apparent. And Porsche has created an amazing vehicle in this regard. It drives like a porsche in all respects, is super comfortable, and is great long drives. Would I track it? Lol, no! I recently did a 500 mile road trip, and absolutely loved it. That said, I get the emotional thrill in my 488 Spider that the Porsche is not able to do.
You can go in sandals. However, shoes are better protection. Has been a while since my last visit and I am not sure if they have done anything with the trails. Many of the trails, especially to the waterfalls had rocks.
Yes, it seems that way. But I won't be living in the era in which it will all be EV. I am also banking on Porsche, being once again successful, in developing the synthetic 0 carbon emission fuel, so I can stick to EV even further.
Not my world. At 53 I think I have just enough time left that gas stations will still be available ... if I manage to accelerate my drinking I can lock that in. I'm trying my best.
Amen. Though only 41, I am holding out for as long as possible. I did the Tesla thing for a local commuter (just to have first hand knowledge) and realized I spent even more time connected to work. I would set it in auto and text / email away. Never disconnected. This versus ripping around in my RRS SVR, listening to the pops and bangs of the exhaust and chuckling like a child at how ridicules the whole thing is. It is silly, but being able to enjoy a few motoring minutes is therapeutic. My 0.02 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
At 50 years young, I figured I can do my part with both my 488 Spider and Taycan Turbo S offsetting each other and claiming to be Carbon Neutral!
Tried the Taycan and loved it. Which is why I am going to hold off as long as I can. ICE for me for now. As others have said electrification is inevitable and it feels good to be at the forefront of technology. At the same time we are at the pinnacle of gas powered engines and that is to be savored. Here is one I am looking at to add. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
