I was driven to my wedding in a silver Alfetta (NOT auto!) Boyfriend had bought it very cheap from a guy moving overseas (literally gave him cash as he drove him to the airport!) It was actually a very nice car, albeit a bit sedate.

I like those old jaguar saloons. I used to spend a lot of time in a 420G when they were new. Loved that car. I also had a couple of V12 jaguars that I loved. So much more luxurious, comfortable and quiet than anything else available at the time. I wonder what I'd think if I drove one now.
