Those wheels are the worse choice.

It's rosso corsa as stated by the dealer (Scuderia Monte Carlo). It seems a little darker in the photos but it's a matter of lighting and quality of the pics.

Saw a Rosso corsa, single color example parked up over the weekend and finally got the chance to inspect all the finer details of the car. I had seen a yellow one drive by previously and was very impressed. As I mentioned then, I mistook it for a LaFerrari before realizing what I was looking at. Upon further inspection, my thoughts remain the same. This car is absolutely stunning. It’s street presence can only be matched by other $1 million+ hypercars. My wife said it best... “it looks like one of the those toy cars little boys play with when they’re growing up.”

Now to the disappointing part. Upon start-up, revving and a full WOT acceleration to redline, I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed in the sound of a car in my entire life. I cannot remember a time in which a car sounded worse in real life than in videos, but this was absolutely the case with the SF90. I was one of the initial complainers when the 488 came out and the turbos were introduced. However, upon hearing and driving several examples in person, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the car is actually quite vocal and has a pretty sweet sound. Not the case with the SF90. When I heard the revs I actually started laughing. A stock 488 is easily 2x as loud. The worst part is you can so easily tell the engine is an absolutely maniacal beast. It sounds like a fire breathing dragon being forced to breath through a coffee stirrer.

I am sure that from inside the cabin with the hot tube it is an entirely different experience, but don’t expect to get any goosebumps driving through a tunnel or hear any echoes on your favorite canyon road. From all accounts I have read from those who have driven it, most aren’t too disappointed in the sound. I look forward to getting behind the wheel one day. However, for the innocent bystander on the outside, there is very little theater if any at all. I have never witnessed/heard a greater dichotomy when comparing a cars looks to its sound. The car I saw was non-AF so maybe the AF exhaust addresses this to some extent. I know this isn’t entirely in Ferraris control, but there are many cars on the market today that sound miles better and all have to comply with the same regulations (let alone the fact this was a US spec and doesn’t have to comply with any of that Euro nonsense). Hopefully they can do better in the future, but with regulations only getting stricter, I’m not getting my hopes up.

It seems they´re selling more Asetto Fiorano cars than standard. They must be pleased, as it´s an expensive option.

In this silver finish, you say? I think they look really good in silver.
In your opinion, which wheel/finish is the best?
IMHO this "rotor" wheel in diamond finish is beautiful up close, with the car parked. From afar, in motion, it seems too futuristic, it seems that the spokes are floating. The "rotor" in silver or gray, or the standard wheel are ideal, in my view. More Ferrari style.
