Just got my post-Phillip Island oil analysis back, all clear after getting quite hot at SMSP in December. Phew. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice find, she was so smooth and calculating .... plus had the decency to acknowledge drivers that gave her a clear run
My favourite one was Sabine driving the Ford Transit Van around he Ring for some silly Top Gear challenge. RIP Sabine.
Sad loss Sad loss to motorsport. Takes a special driver to win the 'Ring 24 hour once but twice! She would have been so suited to the M3 E36 cars . RIP Sabine..
Off to the mechanics this arvo for a spanner check and sorting out a Weber issue - NOT! Biblical rain, and the run-off from the road (which the arseholes in council won't acknowledge, let alone fix) threatened to flood the pool. After two hours out in the rain, our diversions and drain clearing narrowly averted another pool full of mud. Two feet of water across the road at the bottom of the hill, which the Lotus would have found... difficult.
I did manage to finish setting the ride height and doing the corner weights, though. Probably 7-8 hours in total - a shjt of a job. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-N920I using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Good luck Pat...We’re copping an absolute pounding down here...Thank god the house was built on top of a hill...Still having to manage a few leaks in the old girl...Adrians the worry as they are evacuating his area...I lent my van to a mate that was going under...It never made it out...Stalled in the rising waters...
Not the van! Hopefully, heavily insured. My joint has a huge flat roof - had a major leak attended to recently, which, thankfully, has held up dry. Of course a few more leaks in other places today...
