I think the sticker price on mine was somewhat over US 60k.

Quick yes, but not totally accurate. I should have said, that my QV actually is 84, not 85. Would have to look up the sticker at home, but it was something like 64k if I remember correctly. Kinda depended on what options you wanted (like Euro front wing etc).

Oops, I got my number wrong from leaking memory: 60,880 was the MSRP in 1984. Basically the same number as Gerry lists.

She's real but she was Photoshop'd into the picture, along with myself and the 308 and the two signs.

This is fairly interesting. I used one of those "today's dollars" calculators on the internet to figure what $61k in '84 is today, and it's the equivalent of like $105k.

Well, my '78 308 was about $37k new, right? That's ALSO about $105k today.

So, even with inflation considered, Ferrari's have gotten MUCH more expensive relative to the economy just in the last 15 years or so.

A little difficult to read on the scan, but my 1984 QV was $61,553.00

    $59,500
    + 350.00 prep fee
+ 830.00 metallic paint (my red car was originally ordered as metallic maroon/prugna mettalico)
+ 535.00 for the euro spoiler
    + 520.00 delivery fee.

What's interesting to me is that it doesn't add up properly to $61,553.00...
and the electric passenger side mirror is listed as an option!

The Ferrari Invoice, from Autohaus Ferrari (Cohasset, MA) for my 1983 308 QV was $61,731.00. That's including extra cost options:

    Metallic Paint (Verdo Pino): 830.
    Large spoiler (Euro); 535.
    Special Leather Interior Trim: 516.

There was also a "gas guzzler tax" of $1250.

When I was in high school in 1977, I swear the sticker on a new yellow 308 GTS was $72K. I have a good memory and I think this price was correct.

Prices really went up for the 328 - my sticker/sales receipt shows 86K and change for my '89! So I need 182k for it to break even!

Well, not really, since I bought it used in '08, I only need 66k to break even! Wow, that's actually possible!

My 85 Euro QV cost $55,000 USD new in the US. It cost about $39,000 USD in France before it was imported.

My 87 was $76,795. The original owner traded in a Porsche 930 for it, and got $28,500 :) In all fairness, that out-the-door price did include $5702.30 for a cell phone.
