I'll take a few pics of the avionics bay next week for you. There's heaps of redundancy. It's all pretty smart and is constantly monitoring itself, so if anything doesn't add up it alerts you straight away. When something goes wrong it even automatically brings up the correct check-list on the MFD (bottom centre screen) so you don't have to go fumbling through hundreds of pages of crap to find what you're looking for.

Those speed goals are pretty modest. 500hp in a tiny single-seat machine designed purely for speed and they’re only aiming for “more than 300mph” (260kt). Thirty years ago the TBM turboprop - which is an entirely conventional aircraft with a decent sized six-seat cabin and 700hp - was routinely cruising at around 290kt (333 mph), and would do over 300kt flat out.
