I disagree. Were you saying the same when Ferrari was on the Constructor's podium from '74-'79, '82-'85, '88-'91, '94-'08, '10-'13 and '15-'19? I also know it's only the first day of the first race this year, but McLaren's looking like they're working they're way back.....no lowering the bar for them, just nose to the grindstone.... From this session, it looks like Ferrari's 4th. That's better than 6th last year. McLaren's had to work it's way back to the top 3 (last year) for 7 years ('12-'19) There's always spec series (NASCAR comes to mind), kit car series (IndyCar in this case), or BoPed series (sports cars) if you're not interested seeing the deserved come out on top, and the undeserved flounder. We'll see some more in 5 minutes.....
Did McLaren rise from 6th to 3rd in just one season? With the cars frozen? Before a big rules change? No, uh? Then you can spare us the motivational speech, I´ll settle for 4th.
The amount of running we see in a 1 hour session is great so far. No more of that lul when Jo one goes out for prolonged periods of time so far. It's great!
Motivational speech? Where does that come from??? We're in agreement. I stated it took McLaren seven years. I also stated that "From this session, it looks like Ferrari's 4th. That's better than 6th last year." I'm disagreeing with the "gloom and doom". Reading comprehension is key.
True but comments like Bottas’ aren’t good. Thinking about it , makes sense it’s close with a regulation that’s the same. I mean engineers are not dumb and are able to catch up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting that Lec was doing a longer program with softs, the only driver doing it, all others did longer runs with meds. Too bad we didn't get a Q lap from Charles (may have been deleted), I'm thinking he's atleast 3 tenths quicker than Sainz, so would have been up there around top of the chart
Do not compare Ferrari with McLaren, please. At McLaren, they address problems and calmly try to solve them At Ferrari, they throw their hands in the air and start a witch hunt.
Sorry but previous performances and talent don't lie. Perez was average at best during his whole career, I don't remember if he had won any championship. Verstappen I knew very well from his karting times that he was phenomenom. Lando is too a karting world champion and had a very impressive career prior to F1. Sainz won the F-Renault 3.5 when the grid was weak, and got defeated by Kvyat in GP3.
Tsunoda already quicker than team mate Ghastly at Alpha Tauri !! Poor show from Aston and Renault (sorry Al-peen) so far. It looks like Mick Shumacher will have his work cut out this year.
