    Gents,

Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Houston area to change my caliper color from Black to Yellow? Obviously I would like the Ferrari script redone as well. I live in the Clear Lake area, however will travel anywhere in Houston for the best service. I have a 2006 F430.

    Cheers, Mat

Norwoods Auto Italia did mine in Dallas. Absolutely perfect. Reasonable.

I got a quote from Ferrari of $4000 and almost threw up in my mouth.

I got my 996 Turbo done two years ago at my Porsche mechanic for $800 and that included the rebuild.

    Any Houston suggestions?

That price is an absolute steal!

$1,850.00 out the door for us. ( FCA / FC gets 10% off that price )
    R&R calipers
Disassemble and Reassemble ( Could be considered a rebuild I guess )
    Refinish in whatever color preferred
Brake flush entire system ( Calipers, ABS Pump, Etc. )

Takes 3-4 business days to complete and one would be hard pressed to tell them apart from the way they came from the factory, graphics and all.

    Steve,

Very tempting. I wonder why you and another dealer in TX are soooo far off on price.

Thought of having mine changed about a year ago from black to yellow with script, just like you mentioned. Mind you, I’m not in Texas, but was quoted $1200-$1500 for the complete job, FWIW. Ended up trading in so didn’t actually do it.

Sphere Motorsport did mine. Factory yellow with logo for around 1,400. Call Mark.
