Do any of the modes make it faster in a straight line, on a smooth road/track?

I know suspension, exhaust all change along with Traction Control depending on which mode chosen.
Does any mode effect the engine or boost?

Np they do not affect boost or power. The shifts are marginally faster and the traction control is less intrusive.
If you are looking for the fastest launch, use LC, put it in TC off and let the car shift.

Sport Race etc does not effect engine power. Those steering wheel setting effect traction controls plus shift map and shock stiffness slightly...that is all.

My Hellcat is a lot faster because I was not dragging the brakes the entire time with the TC off. With the TC “on” it was a grocery getter.
    Is why I ask.

Unless you're on a grippy, smooth surface TC will always reduce the power delivery if you let it. A little slip angle is actually faster than none, but if you totally overpower the available grip all you're doing is shredding rubber and actually accelerating slower :)
