It will be on the 21st April 2021, to those clients that are on the list. Early May (5th) a press release will go out. Marcel Massini
Will the selected customers be allowed to take pictures on April 21st? Cant wait for another 3 weeks and they still havent called me to fly to Italy on the 21st...
would have been nice though wouldn’t it, all those BA prices going skyrocket due to us all flying over like the good old days, although with a limited car like this maybe a mini bus would do The amazing 2019 events seem so long ago!
Yes, we're in a difficult situation at the moment. "Red zones" with strict limits pretty much everywhere.
Hello everyone! I plan on making an 812VS registry page (and possibly a thread on here aswell) on social media, where I will attempt to post as many units as possible for the fascination of all those that are interested. I saw that upon release of the F12 TDF people worked together and shared their specs and production numbers of their new cars here on the site, so I was hoping this would be possible again and it would certainly make my job of registering the cars a lot easier! I doubt there will be visible plates with the production number in the car, this will probably only be able to be found out through the VIN, like previous limited run Ferrari's, it will probably just say "1 of 812" or whatever final numbers are. This is why the easiest way to find them out would be from owners themselves. Thanks and I would love to hear some feedback, Max
Okay great, once I find out the official name of the car (lets hope I can on the 21st), I will create the register thread for people to join!
A long week, thank God, there is the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix this weekend to make the wait more bearable. ^^

"The combination with the 812 of the Imola circuit, the Enzo and Dino Ferrari, resumes a tradition of symbolic tracks for Ferrari represented in road models. From the 599 GTB Fiorano to the recent SP1 and SP2 Monza. Should the date of presentation be confirmed, April 21, it would take us back to 1963, when for the first time Formula 1 raced on the track on the banks of the Santerno, then non-titled race for the world championship and won by Jim Clark."
Personally I hope not. For me that name really does not work at all. 812 MM 812 LM 812 Competizione is what is on my list.
It's like this lazy and silly article. https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1131330_hardcore-ferrari-812-to-be-called-versione-speciale It is so interesting that recently, there has been a lot of talk about both manufactures and established outlets criticising people on various types of social media for not being "real" motoring journalists. Yet we see crap like this, or the Motor Trend and TG fake Tuatara speed run. I commented on the linked article, simply saying it was not correct. I got banned, rather than the editor doing his job. I then sent him an email just to see what would happen. What do you know? Absolutely nothing. Aside from a very few, and I do mean VERY few, the world of motoring journalism is a joke.
Personally, I belive that Ferrari has a special team that has only one job: to read motoring news around the world (FerrariChat included), and to write down every new car name guess. To be sure they won't use it on real car...
