End of day 2. Very wet and challenging. First couple of stages Pat tiptoed the car around, feeling the cars tyres. By stage 3 we’d gained enough confidence in the car to throw it around at the start to get some heat into the tyres quicker, at which point the car handled beautifully. Pat was getting faster and faster as the day wore on and we finished in 2nd place 2m24s behind the Volvo. As Kenny said ‘bloody Volvo drivers’. Tomorrow the weather is set to continue it’s crappy form and then we are over to the west coast where it’s bucketing down. If we get some dry stages we’ll be able to catch the Volvo as he’s not as fast as us in the dry. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
looks like a lot of fun Gizz...Do you recon you have a good chance to catch the Volvo if it stays wet?...
Probably not Gary. He’s pretty quick in the wet. It’s possible, but we don’t want to put the trees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't like to say it 'cos he shafted my great mate Gerry Lister in a business deal, but Ashley Yelds can seriously drive the sox of that 122. The bloke that built his engine built mine as well..in Brissy. He who first finishes has the chance to finish first...my take on the famous saying. Break a leg
Great results Pat and Giz! Good luck for today. (I’m reading “Colin Chapman:Flawed Genius” at present). Giz, Paddy (cabinetmaker) sends his regards.
My oil pressure went full scale right in my second session, idled all the way back to the Ferrari dealer on the GC, they fixed it for free Oil pressure sensor
