Definitely not Grigio Alloy, and as I’ve got a Grigio Titanio F8 Spider & Grigio Titanio SF90 AF locked in now and looked at the paint sample enough times, I’m 95% it’s Titanio, as I think Grigio Ferro has more of a brown hue to it... whatever colour it is, just Wow! Congratulations Ferrari Design Team....

Love the design of the 812 VS! Much better than the 812 SF, particularly the front and the back of the car. Great work Ferrari again!

In the first shot, you can make out the depressions ahead of the VGs even though faint. I think the impression of there being openings is from the fact that the VGs are black snd standing proud of the surface so look like openings from behind.

I expect a section through the “scoop” to look (very) roughly like this:

I see everyone is now hating on the 812SF design....”ohhhhhhh The 812VS is weird, but but at least it’s better than the SF.”
    :mad::p

A few weeks ago you were hinting the powertrain had some kind of boost, together with other statements strongly hinting that you already had seen the car and learned about its main features. FWIW no boost in sight... Any comments?

The stronger you bragged, the least credible you were, as usual in situations alike... I'd love to know the clearance level of your sources, though!! :D :D

Beside the joke (that angle makes the car looks like an angry stormtrooper), it’s absolutely AMAZING!

Even Marcel Massini had it wrong about what exactly was going on today.

At least the car itself, which is key issue here I'd say, wasn't hit by last minute strategy changes.

Guys, the trail of bread crums Ferrari has left behind for us are pretty darn clear to see:

    1. Intro of the clip there is mention of the racing and current history of Ferrari. We only see recent models.
    2. Car is being presented at the new XX building at Fiorano
    3. In every picture i’s shown on the track, not on the road like most Ferrari’s.
    4. Mentioning several time the engine is the “ ultimate expression”
    5. First teaser mentioned the link between road car and racing.
6.Above average allocation to race car drivers (in Europe)
    7. Ferrari’s increased marketing linking to racing
    8. Mentioning in the clip that “ form always follows’ function”. That’s straight up race car designing.
    9. Pista’s also very clear link to the race rack; being the VS version of the 488.

Perhaps it’s just me, being a Challenge driver, that I see all these links. But I’m clearly seeing Manzoni’s design team taking a beating from the tech team shouting at them “ we got dibs on this one!”
Yes the TDF has a more flowing side profile, but I clearly see with the VS that design has taken a step back.
This car wasn’t designed to be a timeless Icon. It’s designed to be the “ ultimate expression” of a front engined V12 designed to go freakin fast!

Ferrari is putting more and more focus on their racing series and it’s starting to show. Probably a wise choice as the future will probably mean more bland EV cars and track performance equals a bit more freedom.

Design wise, to me, it fixes the controversial front of the 812SF. The VS looks like it’s going fast even standing still. Better yet, this thing looks capable.
Isn’t that how Ferrari got started in the first place. Simply by building freakishly fast cars, that later happend to look great as well? I doubt Enzo said about the F40 “ make it elegant please” .
We could argue all we want, but race cars, the F8/812SF aren’t. This looks like Ferrari’s take on a Porsche GT3RS; for lack of a beter comparisson.
And I for one couldn’t be happier. Screaming past Testla’s with 9500rpm; on the street and on the track is what I will do with a smile from ear to ear.
Well done Ferrari, the Force is strong in this one!

With you assessment it seems logical that the next step is a mid-engine, sportier replacement as some rumors have it.

That thread is a lesson of life... lot of blah blah, so called world known experts who had it plain wrong, and modest and humble people who almost exactly guessed the design

We already knew @ingegnere 's talent since 10 years (FF, F12) (Let me recall that I am the one who called him back from retirement to perform his art for us. Like in movies at the beginning when the hero is retired and his former boss comes to see him for one last mission :D)

Our big revelation is @isot . I didn't discovered anything today. Congrats and thanks a lot
